Barbecuin' in Bombay

It has been in the works for a few weeks now, and last weekend Suhas and I finally completed our mission of making a barbecue. We set up a few bricks, purchased some charcoal and coconut husks, marinated the meat and went to town. We built two stations, one was set up as the main grill station where I was in charge of cooking chicken and beef (that's right we had barbecued cow), the other we burned the coconut husks and "smoked" some fish. It turned out to be a success and made it into quite an event; our neighbors invited a friend over and we ate and hung out for a few hours. Here in Bombay it is all about slow cooking.
